Bethel Township Community
The small township of Bethel is active at the community level, with residents, home owners and establishments participating in community projects. Interestingly, the Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts often participate in restoration projects and other beautification endeavors. One notable project Bethel Township appreciated was the restoration of the Donnelsville Cabin in Donnelsville Park, formerly known as Headley Field. Supplies were donated by the scouts and also contributions from around the community. Bethel Township has the Donnelsville Lions Club to thank for their generous donation of the Donnelsville park and facilities to Bethel Township in 2006, and the wonderful recreational opportunities this created for local residents.
Crystal Lakes Park was also beautifully landscaped by Troop 180 in Huber Heights for an Eagle Scout Project. Scouts donated 150 hours of work with family and friends participating with hauling topsoil, planting shrubbery and flowers. Together with community members they weeded, mulched and cleaned the park. The needed supplies were provided by Bethel Township.
If living in a town with team spirit, pride and neighborly collaborations is attractive to you, Bethel Township is exemplary of this kind of atmosphere, and we know you'd love the area and getting to know Bethel Township's residents.
